Where can I take my E-Bike?

Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or just like to explore a new area, you may be wondering as you start your e-bike booking, where can I go around this area? You’re in luck – there are a handful of routes along our Emerald Coast that allow bicycles for the adventurous. Some are cutting through nature while others give more of a beach view. Here we detail some of our top choices and why we like them so you can choose what’s best for you.

Grayton Beach State Park

This 2,000-acre park off Scenic Hwy 98 offers a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, and more. With more than 4 miles of trails through pine flatwood trees, this is a hiking and biking paradise. Beach access is available and campgrounds for the true outdoor experience.

Scenic 98

Another long stretch of pavement is the route known as Scenic Hwy 98, a highway that runs parallel to Hwy 98/Emerald Coast Parkway but along the water’s edge. Sidewalks line the road for walkers and bikers to share as you venture past small local businesses, condos, beach homes, and views of our Emerald Coast. Plan for this route to have more pedestrians than most, as this is a direct route to the beach from many condos and rental homes in that area.

Bike Trail Along 30A

Also known as the Timpoochee Trail, this route stretches almost 20 miles running from Dune Allen at its western end all the way east to Rosemary Beach. The entire path is paved and separated from the roadway, making it a highlight for bike enthusiasts. You’ll get to see many coastal lakes, live oaks, magnolias, and more as you trek along our coastline.

Point Washington State Forest

Thousands of acres of inland lakes, ponds, and marshlands line this trail adjoining the 30A trail. The Point Washington trails are largely unpaved, with gravel or hard sand in various areas. Bicyclists can choose to stay on the mapped routes or create their own while exploring the vast forest areas. At this time, the mapped trails cover three one-half, five, and ten-mile loops.

Pick a destination and allow us to deliver the bikes directly to you. Whichever you choose, you’re sure to love our beautiful Emerald Coast!
